Trailer Set-Ups
Just wondering how many folks are running trailers to their fields. I just bought a Pace 8 x 12 and am wondering if anyone out there has ideas on interior set-up. IE' sheling work bencks, etc, etc. If you know of any pics or articles on this subject please let me know. Thanks

Trailer Set-Ups
When I get back to town at the end of the week, I'll take some pictures of the inside mine. I can fit four Giant Scale inside mine, wings, supplies, two EZ-UPs, chairs, tables and other stuff. My buddy who built trailers for a living made one for himself two years ago - I used it most of the time - and he just finished building one for me. It is 6 x 10 - 6 foot plus tall so I can stand up. Instead of Giant Scale, you can put lots of small stuff in it. Real nice to just hook up and go flying - no more carrying stuff from the basement to the van.

second time around
This is my second trailer--so I learned a lot about what NOT to do-It is a 6X10 --and I wanted to be able to carry 2 Giant scale planes without taking them apart at the end of the day--plane on top is a 68" 1/3 Pitts and the plane on bottom is a 96" Super Decathalon

I have cletes attached at different places in the floor for attaching bungee cords, depending on the plane being carried on the floor. Since there is no wheel pants on this plane I screwed velcro to the floor to wrap around the wheels and landing gear to keep things in one place. I find that carring planes in one piece makes it much better. I can assemble them at home and when I get to the field, I just fuel and fly! Just my $.02
