Well, Christmas is right around the corner, and I'm sure the wish lists have been handed out by now. What's on your wish list?

Yellow Aircraft has a very nice 60 size Extra I have my eyes on for this building season. If it's not under the tree, I may have to suprise myself with a New Years Day present

Hi Jerry and Plane Insane

Good to see you guys here.

Plane Insane, Yellow's Extra is a sweet plane. I have one with a OS 91 FX in it. kit is pretty impressive for an ARF and I generally dont like ARF's. So many people were raving about this plane I had to get one. Glad I did.

I find those to be the best presents... the ones I buy myself. I don't limit the amount I'll spend, and I get exactly what I want

I find that my wife is very good at presents that I didn't think I would ever get, usually if there is something I want RC related I have already bought it....but I wouldn't mind my own flying field so that i could get into turbines. We have a pretty strict noise provision.

Hey sideshow (Bob),

Where are you flying in the Bay Area?

I am at BARCS in Richmond. We have a fairly large fly-over area and a reasonable runway. I have seen ducted fans flown from our field but never turbines. I believe one of our members has a turbine but flies it out near Sacramento. Woodland?

Hey guys,

Seems like a good place to make my first post on this board. My wife is really good about getting me the planes I want. I'll probably end up with one of the two below.

Great Planes Extra 300S kit 60 size

Top Flite P-51P Gold Edition 60 size

I have two copies of the Tower flier opened to the page that has the new TF Hawker Sea Fury circled in black magic marker. I strategically place one or both of them every few days so that she has to pick them up........ I'm still worried that she won't get the hint......
That and an RCV 1.2 would make an excellent combination!

Hey...You did say Wish list right?

Wish you all the best for a Happy Holiday!
Cheers...

Hey Nik,

I like that! Drop a few subtle hints to get something more approriate.

I bought my wife an emerald bracelet for her birthday recently, then I saw this post on rec.models.rc.air:

"A ruby or emerald on her birthday is worth three, maybe four new models when the time comes!"

I showed her, so let's see what happens!

It already came UPS, and my wife wrapped it up before I could play with it.
Great Planes Slow Poke with an AstroFlite geared 15. Now I'm wondering if the 15 will power my GP .40 Cub??

Default Wish List

Dave Platt's new video series on Jets. Don't plan to build one but understand the tapes contain a lot of tips and tricks--as his others have. Regards.
