Default What is the fastest and cheapest plane

Looking for a 150+ MPH plane with landing gear, maybe retractable maybe not. But must be a reasonable price and I dont want a large plane, is there a cheap pylon plane capable? I dont want to have to buy a $300 engine to do it.

Thanks

Default 150mph plus

John

You'll have to look at a pylon racer to find something without spending a bunch of money...

I have a FAI Nelson powered model I would let go.

Nelson rear exhaust, rear intake, fiberglass fuse, foam wing, ready to fly or stripped of the radio gear...

I do not recall how fast this one is... I can give her a ride and radar it Saturday if your interested.

Should be around 170mph..

Default Fast plane

John

You want her ready to fly less RX? Or Engine and airframe only.

The airframe has a few laps on her, while the engine, battery, serovs, switch and tank are about 12 flights old...

Let me know. I'll pull it out of the hangar and look inside, I don't remember what servos are in her.

Hows about this I'll offer a price with and without, after I look, later this evening.

Default Speed is addictive

John

Here you go.

I do not recall the manufacturer of this model. The plane is approximately six years old. As I mentioned earlier, everything was newly installed in the model about 12 flights ago...

Nelson FAI 40, rear exhaust, rear intake.
JR-9011 midsize coreless precision servos on all surfaces.
HiTec HS-81 on the airvalve carb.

The plane is in good condition no crash history, a little hangar rash.

Ready to fly less RX and battery $625.00
Airframe and engine only $450.00

Plus actual shipping expense. I will box it up for free.
