No flying there but if you go across the Maumee, they are holding the ETOC competition at a High School with some of the best fliers in the world showing up. There isn't any room at the Seagate to fly or have any other demo's unless you could sneak into the 5/3 ballpark next door.
Click on the word or the one above for info on that, ETOC.
Look for me at one of the entrances to the main room, I might just be there handing out RCU goodies bags. Get there early as they will go fast!

Lots of great deals there and don't forget to go upstairs to the swap meet area, it's HUGE! CASH talks there too, even with some big dealers. I'm trying to remember if there is a shipping service on site or not. If there is, it's over by the coat check area near the ticket counter.

Ok I'm making my list. Dennis from Sterling wants Freebes (and would take something computer related), Mark from Evans wants a foamy (something you should have, more than a trailer). Anyone else? I wonder if Chip Hyde would sign my hat?

Well, RCU isn't going to have a booth this year. But several of the mods and administrators (Yours truly included) will be handing out RCU bags at the entrances.

You guys who have been before... is there a place wthin reasonable walking distance where a fellow can have breakfast and linger over coffee waiting for the show to open? I imagine a thousand other folks have the same idea as I do; get there early Friday. But I'm not too keen on waiting outside, especially if its cold/wet. And parking Friday morning will be dicey, I'm sure, with all the business traffic. So I'd like to get the ride parked and secure NLT 0700
Also, which entrance is the best; if it even matters?
I imagine the bargain-hunter early birds swarm the swap shop first, eh?

I don't know about eating places as I go across the river to git some vittles. There is a Subway that I know of and there may be one across from the main entrance. There may be somewhere inside to eat at also as it is a Hotel too.
If you think that parking would be rough on a Friday, you don't want to try to find a spot on Saturday!
You shouldn't have to wait outside as there is plenty of room inside. I've seen the ticket line get really long in there. The swap shop area is free so you can head upstairs first to avoid the mob. They only charge you to go into the main room.

Okay. But I assume the swap shop doesn't open until 0900 either?
What I want to do is get there a couple of hours early so I WON'T have any parking headaches. What I'm trying to avoid is standing around for two hours with thumb inserted, waiting on the place to open up.

Steve, If you do get there early the swap shop is open as soon as the owners arrive to man the table. Sometimes that's as early as 6:00 AM. For eating places there are plenty across the river where we are holding the ETOC. Parking is always a problem but your thinking right, get there early. I'm from Toledo so if I can help any of you guys, well just ask me. I'll see all of you at the show. I'll be manning the TnT booth for awhile.

Thanks, Drysdale, that's what I was looking for. There's plenty of eating spots where we're staying; we'll just grab some chow there and hope the swap shop is open by the time we get to the SeaGate.

If you go to the ETOC, there's only one place to eat, Tony Packo's, www.tonypackos.com . I hit that restaurant every year! You can eat in or get it to go. There are signs on Front Street that take you right to it.

Ron, your right that is a great place to eat. Also just over the bridge on the right is International Park with many good restaurants there.
