Default Sig hog bipe after market nose cowl

hi Fellows,

I had a sig hog bipe kit laying in the workshop for a long time, my new girlfriend saw it and asked me to build it for her. it will be motivated by a os 91 surpass. I don't like the apearence of the cowl section (engine upright and poor design of the front section). I decided to go with a side mounted engine and I want to find a nice fiberglass nose cowl.
I know there is a company making one, but I don't remember the name of it.
Thanks for helping us.

Any coment about this airplane is also welcome, and if there are too much of them I will ask the moderator to relocate this thread in the building section

greetings

Try stansfibertech.com I haven't ordered from them but I'm thinking of getting a class cowl for my ultimate bipe.

Yes, that's a Super Flyin' King. As a matter of fact, it was a Christmas gift from my better half and loyal stooge. That's why I said, if you find someone who supports what you do---HANG ON TIGHT. Mine finds more in the monthly mags and Tower catalog to buy than I do. My other large on-going project is a 120" Grumman Widgeon that she got for my birthday a while back. Never complains about my weekends at the field and always brings me ( and often others ) lunch. I am a lucky, lucky man!

On the SFK. It has a Brisson 4.8 twin for power. Set up for glider tow, r/c skydiver and candy drop, and I am working on a mount for a video camera. It is covered with Nelson fabric and painted with Nelson paint. Weighs about 38lbs. I carved the STOL wingtips ( that took about a month alone ) but the term really should be STOLL. Short takeoff, long landing. When it gets into ground effect it just hangs there, especially with full flaps. It is a hoot to fly, like flying my Suburban. Takes coordinated rudder and aileron. Rolls are s-l-o-o-w but fun to watch.

Take that girl of yours out to dinner!

Rich
