what would you do?
a couple months ago i made a deal to trade my os-25 ducted fan engine and accessories for an old patriot and a wing panel for my somthin extra. i don't remember the exact dates it was that long ago! i sent my engine and stuff,and never seen anything in return. on 10-28 he sent me a message stating it was sent to another job site by mistake and he would take care of it post haste. well here it is december and still no box or communication! the worst part of it is i trusted him implicitly because he is a mod here. what to do?---henry

Contact RCU admin.
I would e-mail the admin. of the site for contact info. Even if they do not give you the persons phone #, I am sure they can get in touch with that person... 
The mods on here have all been top-notch, but I would not hesitate in contacting other mods. to get it straightened out. I would do this before posting the guys/gals info. though....

Well i would have is butt shaved and made to walk backwards! Wait, thats for dogs. Okay, Force him to suck down some ice cream through a severed sheeps------. Nah that wont work. Here we go. Send him one of those first run Hangar 9 Edge 540s with an MDS engine.
Call AMA for clubs and other organizations in the area you sent it all too and get hold of some "good ol boys"

There was something like that a while back, when a moderator sent a guy a really pathetically dodgy plane. You should post who it is in the good, the bad, and the ugly forum.

in all honesty and fairness to the rest of the members, this is the first time in a lot of years that this has happened to me so i would not judge others by this. 99.9% of the time the people here at rcu are superb to deal with. in less than one year i have spent hundreds, maybe even a couple thousand dollars, plus numerous trades here without a hitch.---henry

what would you do?
We are in the process of locating and contacting this person to find out what has happened. This moderator was with RCU for some time and recently has not been online for better than 3 weeks. We are looking to see if he might have had either family or health issues recently as it's rather odd to be on this site all the time and then not at all for such a long period. Not to mention being out of communication on nun45's deal as well as something I myself had pending with him on our magazine.
It may take a day or two but I hope to have more information to get this resolved for both nun45 and me asap. nun45's issue would pale in comparison to mine if I don't get this one resolved.

marc, last communication i had with him was back in october, and he said his puter crashed which in turn lost all pics and data on your project. that may be a reason for the blackout on your end.---henry

I wouldn't say bad..
I have a pretty good idea of the guy in question and I wouldn't call him a bad person. I think (and hope) that this will turn out to be one of the rare stories where something major has happened in somebodies life...I don't think we are dealing with a bad apple or a crook. I hope I'm right, and hope whatever has happened isn't tragic.

You hit the nail right on the head Chuck. I can't go into details but something did happen, thank God not tragic, but still something that was out of his control and it's being rectified as I type, so hang tight henry. Life can sometimes deal us a bad hand and that's basically what happened and the guy in question is not a crook, nor was he trying to pull a fast one. It will be all made clear at the right time.

i am sure you are all right as i did not think he would do anything deliberate. when you are sitting waiting patiently for a treasured airplane and get neither plane nor communication you have to wonder. and i will apoligize when its due.---henry
