Thanks for the info re the T28, found it on the best in show page, gives me inspiration to start my old Dave Platt T28b kit, its only been waiting around 20 years or more, what a great coverage of the show, we can only dream of such a get together down here.
Cheers Greg

Did anyone get any photos of my "Indy 400" plane. I was tickled to have gotten a 3rd Place with it in Sport Monoplane. It was right near the BIG Cub on the same table. Unfortunately, my wife swapped memory cards in our cameras sometime before I went to the show AND didn't delete the photos that were on there. So, I had about 4 pictures to use at the show. Sheesh. Anyway, if anyone happened to take a photo of the Indy 400, please email it to me at [email protected] or post it here and I can right click it and save it that way.
I've uploaded one of my pictures so you know what it looked like. This was taken last summer at the Indianapolis 500 track. Its just a few miles from my home.
Thanks,
Scott

Geeze Ken, your trigger finger must be tired!
Here's a few from outside the show. We gotta eat sometime!
L-R John Neff (JWN) Ken Isaac (RC Ken) Yours Truly, and some homeless guy we felt sorry for and fed.
Also a nice shot of that DR-1 cockpit

Speaking for all of the Weak Signals club members, I wish to take this opportunity to thank all of you involved with RC Universe for your excellent coverage of our annual R/C show. Your forums were positive, your pictures very well layed out and your virtual tours a very good way to see things at the show missed by some and for those unable to attend.
Make certain you contact me next year before the show, or see me there when you arrive and I will see that you have all the access you need.

Thank you for the kind words. I can see areas where perhaps we can improve on the our coverage a bit for next year. Perhaps a little more granular detail in some areas. The crowds can some times make that a little difficult, but that sure is a nice problem to have One area I missed getting pictures of was the swap meet. Wow! Talk about a great collection of R/C treasures!
We will most certainly get in touch with you next year before the show.

I can tell you this much for sure, I'll spend more than just one day next year. I just flat out didn't have time to cover the event, and then spend all of my money on top of that!!!!!
I'll probably go for at least 2 days next year.

What is the name of the cool blue and white plane that has a dragster behind it and, who makes it? I believe it's on the first page of this thread.

The plane you are asking about is called an "Aqua Bird". It was built by Faye Stilley and won second place at Toledo in the "Sport Monoplane" category:
http://www.toledoshow.com/winners.html
That link will take you to the show site. Faye is the guy who does the "How To" videos and demonstrations on applying coverings. Monokote used to show him in their ads. Really nice guy too.
I was fortunate to come in 3rd place in that category with my "Indy 400". I was tickled just to be on the same table. I never thought I'd place!
