Reattaching clear film on decals
Unfortunately, the adhesive of this type decal (it really is the decal, not a protective cover) is suceptible to glow fuel seepage and to some cleaning solvents. You can only work at damage control... there's no way I've found to re-adhere the peeling edges.
Carefully trim the peeling edge back to where its firmy adhered, or to the edge f the color, whichever comes first. Clean the aircraft with Windex or a similar cleaner.
If you need to get the edge back down still... cover with clear packing tape.
Get some clear Lustercoat, spray into the can's cap, and apply to the edges of the decals, using a soft "camel hair" brush. (and the edges of the tape if you needed to use some) This will seal the edges and prevent further seepage under the plastic film. It won't hurt to seal all edges and seams in the covering to further prevent fuel seepage.
