Default Another one?

I was sent this link that refers to rent owed by a major magazine publisher.

The link is from their local newspaper, not from me or anyone else connected with our magazine.

"We report, you decide".

I could live with losing MAN but would hate to lose Flight Journal.

I didn't renew my subscription about two years back due to the lack of content. Looks like others felt the same way maybe.

How do people get away in life just not paying a bill? If that was me the secret police would be knocking my door down and dragging my entrails down the street.

I think it follows. Hasn't one of the British magazines Air Age supplies gone out of business? The British mags are EXTREMELY expensive here in the US, and that lowers subscriptions. too. Gotta make money to pay money.

Hmmm! L.A. , That would be affordable.

I dropped MAN about 2 or 3 years ago. Too much flash and not enough substance.

Yeah, I dont understand how people get away with things like that. Like vicman says, I sure wouldnt get a break.

IMO they are well worth the extra. I dumped MA a few years back after the way they requested my renewal and then screwed it up. That was an easy decision for me. The money went to getting a second Brit mag, no regrets and a pull-out plan every month to boot.[8D]
Good news is we don't need to worry about MA not making any money and folding[X(].

FWIW, I like MA quite a bit

I really don't care if they go out of business.

I didn't renew my subscription this year for lack of content.

I returned to Fly RC Magazine and, of course, kept my subscription to R/C Report.

FWIW, there was another thread concerning this subject posted in the car forums. An employee of Air Age posted in the thread, explaining his side that the town was not living up to all of their contractual obligations in the lease, and that both sides were taking a "hardball" approach to force a renegotiation of the lease terms. That's all I remember--search "air age homeless" on here if you want the original thread.

That is an interesting thread, thanks for the heads up. It does appear that in their game of "hardball" the city has benefit of the power of the local biased press. I hope Air Age successfully works it out.
