Default Big April Fly-In

Seems that Humpy Wheeler, owner of Lowe's Motor Speedway (Charlotte, NC), has been bit by the R/C bug. He is hosting an event, along with Flying Aces Pilot's Assn. at the Speedway on Saturday, April 12 from 9am-4pm. The flying will occur in the parking lot along the back strech of the raceway. There will be a sportplane pylon demo by Don Stegall from RCPRO, as well as warbird and aerobatic flying. $10 landing fee.

I got the info from a guy in our club who is a photographer and shoots for NASCAR, knows Humpy and most of the other bigwigs. There is a website listed, but I couldn't get it to work, maybe it's just not up and running yet. www.lowesrc.com

If he does this like he does most other things, it should be well worth coming to.
