Default Wonderful day

Well here it is Sunday, May 4. The temp is 70 degrees and no wind what so ever. The runway 3200 feet long and 50 feet wide. What a beautiful day of flying we had. First time I got time to fly this year and WOW was it a beauty! I flew the Extra and my tweetybird. My wife flew her superstar.

I hope most everyone else was as fortunate as we were and had the same type of day. [)]

It was almost 70 here today as well. Off to the flying field this am and got to visit with some club members that I have not seen in a while, as well as fly. I was even given the chance to maiden a Hangar 9 Spitfire, which flew very well. Perfect day all the way around. Dave

Ahh ha a spitfire. What engine was she sporting?

I think this time of year is just perfect. Nice temps and the gnats and mosquitoes have not made it out yet.

Float flying is short for putting floats on your plane and flying of water. Good Luck, Dave

Thanks, I think she just might stay with it for a while anyway.

I only flew off the water a couple of times and I did have fun. A friend of mine here has a 1/3 scale cub on floats. Really neat to see him fly it.

Beautiful day here in NJ, 70° and sunny, nearly calm. So before I left for work this morning I threw a plane and a heli in the trunk along with the flight box figuring on a few quick flights at lunch. I'm lucky enough that my club field is 15 minutes from my office. Anyway, get to the field for lunch and start unpacking my trunk - hey, where's my transmitter?[:@] Oh, yeah, that's right - hanging on the hook in the basement where I put it after checking the voltage when I left this morning[sm=stupid.gif]. Oh well, at least the weather's nice for plane watching...
