Gentlemen
I was contacted By xtreme Link Yesterday.
We had a good conversation. They appreciated our concerns about our facility and
could understand our decisions regarding LA Jets that had to be made on an emergency last minute Basis.
Their reaction understandingly was also defensive in a cut throut business environment.
We are delighted to receive them at the Basin on Tuesday August 28th. They will have their equipment and Airplanes to test and demo their product.
This is not the first time they have done this.
I am confident that they will do everything in their power to put the club and general publics mind at ease.
They were also invited to present their test results and product at the Valley Flyers general meeting that same day at 7:00 PM at the Encino Community center.
This was presented and discussed last night at the board meeting also.
The Club Meetings are open to general public so don't hesitate to show up.
Please contact me if I can be of assistance.

Wow
Haven't had an earthquake for a while now.
It shook fairly good here in Northridge.
My planes are still swinging on the sealing.

Not quite, just 2 people actually using the telephone and talking to one another.

Hope no one was injured or had any major property damage in the earthquake.

Great day at the field today. Got in a bunch of flights on the Flash. Hurry up with yours Jason so we can fly formation. Got there around 1 pm and not too many people around. Saw Cory with his P-38, you fly'n that this weekend dude? There was a wild mid air among the warbird guys. T bone and Rammie ( spelling?) crossed paths and destroyed both planes. First one I have ever seen from start to finish.

How many people are going to fly this weekend in the scale master event?

Didn't get to meet Baisinite today, darn I was really looking forward to meeting him. Does anyone know who he is? I'd like to know.

Scott, that fiberglass sheeting stuff was awesome. Throw a link up on that stuff. I can think of many uses for this. Thanks for showing that,

Billy

Sure, I have been concentrating on sculpted rocking chairs. They don't fly very well (just a little better than Somes' lawn mower) but then again they don't crash very often either. I am showing at the Contemporary Crafts Market Nov. 2 in Santa Monica if anyone wants to buy one. About the same price as an entry level turbine.

This one is in Walnut and the pictures really don't do it justice, it feels better than it looks.

I can see Billy rocking on one on the porch with a 12 guage in one hand and the pipe in the other looking at his
general lee flash.

Scale masters according to the VF website's schedule is NEXT weekend (8/17,18 & 19).

NOT this weekend right? Cause if so - I'm up a creek - my retracts on my corsair are nothing but trouble.
