We might need to buy Joe a new high capacity cash counting machine soon.
We miss you at the Basin.
Eric is almost done with the Stingrays paint job.
It's on fire and I haven't even hit the ground yet.
Can't wait to get it in the air.

Yes and thanks Billy. Have fun today at the basin, that FW is outstanding. You will master than thing and tame it. Weird about the undercarage but glad you got it tight and upright. Love the sound of that engine.

Don't worry scale man.
I promiss the Jet-Bat will be available to escort your 104 around anytime.
Dail-Wear?Are you refering to that sling shot that was hanging on your field box at Scale Masters?

The wash label said,
Not for Jet-Bats
If it ain'tt Scale, It ain't worth wearing.

hey billy, small world - lol.

that's quite the set up you guys did. the air conditioner even worked as they were worried about a 100 people inside the tent overheating it.

did you set up the audio visual equipment too?

How about one of these bad boys?

http://runco.com/xp-103dhd.html

Only 100K and 500 pounds I saw it this weekend and the picture is second to none. The new Sharp 108 inch is not good at all. The Panasonic 103 isn't too bad but the Runco still trumps it.

News reports I've seen do not state the names of the pilots or planes. It was a midair between 2 formula one planes. It sounds like both pilots survived.

It was Jason Somes unfortunately. He walked away from the crash landing, but he is in the hospital now with possible head injuries. I got this from Rob Janiger, I will post more as I find out. Prayer helps in my experience.

EDIT: I heard he is concious but head is bandaged up. More as I hear it.

Rob just talked to Jason, he seems OK and in good spirits, he is trying to get into the nurse's pants I would assume!

Seriously, that news is a relief. He does have an injury to his right eye, there are going to look into that later today. no broken bones.

Unfortunately, the other pilot did not survive. 3 deaths in 4 days at Reno. Terrible

News tape says Jason was clipped from the back but landed safely and went to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. see if this link comes through.

Great news! Just got an update, Jason had normal vision retrun in his right eye before they sewed up with face (his eye is temporarily sewn shut).

Still feel terrible about Gary. Jason said he really does not know where they hit each other, but he did say he remembers seeing Gary go inverted and hit the ground. Haunting I am sure.
