Happy Holidays , SEpulveda Basin , valley flyers , and giant scale clubs
as for me since they closed one flying field abitt north of me the 2 clubs and fields nearby me have put a cap on membershipand for those that got late notice were a** out, and you can only fly these fields as a club member or guest, so my summer had 0 flights, but on an upside I have enough backyard I'm moving into electric heli's, I currently have a Axe CP and an MX400 Proso far my longesy hover with the Axe CP has beeen about 5 minutes, then it's back to the parts store lol still waiting on new radio set for the MX 400 Proas for planes I've pretty much sold off most except an old trainer, My plan to get an Exocet over the summer was dashed by a spot of financial diffaculties (ie seasonal layoff)winter time here in Ohio is hard on the wallet especially when work stops coming in due to weather conditions.

Thanks Billy. I'm just finishing up the Center fuse. drop tank on it. Yes it will drop
Having allot of fun with the little jet. It's kinda tricky on the ground since the gear is so narrow but I'm getting the hang of it.

Anyone going to Pendleton this Saturday?

I don't know how you have it set up, but try putting the steering on the rudder channel so you can have dual rates on steering. It can make a sensitve plane like the Hornet manageble. I do that on all my planes

I just did that yesterday. I'm hoping it will help. Also added some Expo on the rudder/Steering...

Depending on how the plane is set up, planes like the F-18 can "wheelbarrel" down the runway causing them to me more sensitive. Try holding back full elevator on take off. This will take pressure off the nose wheel making it " sometimes" more stable. Once it gets up to speed release a bit of back pressure, The key is to see once the front nose breaks off the ground you should be able to release even more back pressure and she'll take off real scale like. But your dual rate set up will make it very calm on takeoff.

That's a great video. If you look really close, there's a YS 110 strapped to his butt!

There is a guy from Malibu that is a base jumper and the original host of Stunt Junkies that was on Discovery/TLC that is trying to be the first person in the world to successfully land one of those without using a parachute.
