Taxi way take offs!?!?! Thats not me!!!!

Here's an idea, why don't we break the cherry on the generator and get a DJ and disco lights for the pole dancers.

as if the basin is not already on the map. let's get it on the map

What concerns me the most is that some of that is now evolving into taking off from the center TaxiWay.
that's been going on for years now. unless they are starting out the take off from where my pictures is posted. i've seen other guys take off from the normal taxiway including a few guys who have 1/4 scale extras.

If the permit was dusk to dusk, why were they chasing everyone out at 2 p.m. on Friday ????

Gentlemen
lets put this to bed as it is getting old.
There are 2 permits.
1 that is done through the film office. The movie people retain that from the parks film office independent of us.
The other one is The Valley Flyers. Which we post at the center filed.

Warner Brother had a film facility permit for all day Friday and Saturday till 5:00 AM.
They could have closed the field down from 12:01 AM Friday.

I'm with jason this is getting old. One thing I would like to bring up is spectators and kids who come into the pit area. there's alot of running prop around there.

Do what I do, I chase them out of there....... I hate it when little kids are running around or on there bikes, skates, and especialy scooters................. I some times yell at them and tell them to get away from the airplanes....

I stole it from the website that apparently is not allowed to be linked on here, RC Groups. Originally I had just hot linked it but got the little box with the red X. Since it is not mine, I can't say whether or not you can but I doubt the guy who posted it would have any issues if you did!

has anyone downloaded the latest version of Google Earth yet?

it's now got a flight simulator.

i just took a tour in the sierras and jumped right on over to everest.

(best with a joystick, but the mouse works OK too.)

Just went by the Basin, couldn't help but notice the grass field was on fire between Woodly and the air strip. KNX1070 news radio said that a model airplane went in and started the blaze.. Do we know who's plane it was yet... I could see the smoke all the way from the Newhall pass on the 5frwy.

Rumors!

All I know is that there was a fire; we can assume it was caused by a model but even that is an assumption.
