Sixteen Spitfires flying together
Hi All,
Don't know how widely circulated this clip has been. One of my mates in the Australian Spitfire Association just e-mailed me the link. If you love Spitfires and the sound of Merlins this is for you from the Battle of Britain celebrations at Duxford in the UK. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6c3v...layer_embedded Cheers, Colin |

Hell, with that many Spitfires in the air, no wonder there were'nt any Stukas to be found... LOL

Cool, now I know where to hangout next time I go to Duxford. The flight line is always so crowded you cant get a good view. Must make sure my next trip home coincides with a show.

Crash,
Do you know of any two seat Spitfires (trainers?) still flying? I have a friend who would dearly love to buy a ride. Any possible contact will be pursued. Thanks, Bob |

As far as I know, that is the only one so you'll need to book a flight to the UK first - but where else would you want to fly in a Spit? |
