The most solid plane...

I have been flying for 15 years now and only one plane has stayed with me the entire time...the Sig King Kobra. I have flown EDF, electric, nitro, gas, big/small and nothing has impressed me as the Kobra has. The stability, ease in building (kit), and agaility makes this the perfect every weekend plane. Built in 1997 it has an O.S. 61 (also just as old), springair retracts, foam core wing, built up fuse and fiberglass turtledeck. If pattern flying is your thing then you will not be disappointed in this kit, although it is hard to find now. Just sharing my delight with anyone who owns, has owned, or wants to own this great airplane.

What is your all time best flyer?</p>

Yep, thats a true classic. The Cougar is just as nice for a .40 size airplane.

I have one, but never considered it a pattern plane. Maybe it is and I just don't know what makes it a pattern plane. It is a nice, stable airplane.
