Scams

I have a item listed in the market and I have a response and I know from earlier experiences with these people. The question is how do I report this to get them off of this site???

RE: Scams

I noticed one this morning and sent a PM to JWN, the marketplace moderator.

I included a link to the responder's profile and the ad in question.

You can also block them from posting offers or questions on you ads

I've used that tool in the past

RE: Scams

Hi guys, I have a few ads posted here on RCU and I had some guy respond to most of my ads asking the very same question word for word on all of them. I looked to see when he joined and that was on 3/30/12. I checked a few other ads on here and again he has asked word for word the same thing. Could this be some sort of scam starting. I hope not. Please, if you guys have any ads posted be carefull. I just dont like what I am seeing

RE: Scams

Yes, the first thing to check when buying or selling is how long has the person you're dealing with been a member. If they just joined, it's a red flag, doesn't mean they are a scammer, but take more caution and get real contact info,, not just emails. you need to really consider if it's worth being the guinea pig.

As a seller, If your suspicious a buyer is scamming, tell them USPS Money order only, that will insure you don't loose anything

good luck
