RC Universe board - old vs. new
 

there certainly has been a lot of changes with this board.

in the 1990's, one had to log on to this site which was then a dial up bbs with just 57,600kbps modem. (I still have that modem btw).

the board was organized by region, I believe. I think by late 1990's or early 2000's, the format changed and eliminated the regional forums. the old message data were junked. this had to do with new bbs software that wasn't compatible..

I'm sad that's gone.

I was looking to see what was going on in the RC scene in the new orleans area.
