Indoors flying outdoors.

The coldest morning in history for this time of the year! It was 10deg. at 5-45AM when I started flying with 4 of my indoors, outdoors in dead calm. Rather nice but chilly!

Same AUW, same power unit/prop combo but not the same power as the "Purple Swallow", after bit of fiddle I have upgraded the speedy from 10 to 20A to see what difference will it make.

Beautiful little craft, and lovely piloting. I want to explore this side of the hobby. Where would I even begin? Assuming these are scratch built?

Thanks, this is just another category in this wonderful hobby, ideal for indoor sports halls but I rather enjoy flying it outside in dead calm, just like this morning, the 1st. day of Autumn down here.
All scratch built, of my own design, takes some 100 hours to create with the best reward flying it, absolute magic. Just working on another one slightly smaller to experiment with. Just completed my lightest indoor Pattern creation, "Golden Winglet", I have managed to keep it under 100grams, 98 to be precise plus 16 gram 2S/240mA lipo. More than happy with the result being built from 3mm foam sheets and carbon rods reinforcement at 90x98cm (S/L).
