I think the navy has a ship that can pick up other ships. I remember this ship they use to pick up the uss Cole, pretty neat the way the ship was sitting on the deck of the other ship.

The ad say's it's just under 700 feet long. From the picture I'd guess the run way is 300-400. For the money I think you could get a much larger field somewhere, not to mention the first step off the side of the run way is a doozy.

Last amount I saw on that auction for the aircraft carrier was 90M+.....it has disappeared from the ebay listings now. Either the seller ended the auction early or ebay killed the auction for some reason.

....I had my "Super Sniper" software all set to snag that puppy....

I was gonna go down and park next to Jimmy Buffet....fly r/c off the deck,
drink plenty of margarittas, and eat shrimp cocktails all day....for the
rest of my life. (not to mention all the babes) :eek:
