What do you do for a living?

I am just curious as to what you do to afford this hobby. I guess since I asked I will start this...

I am a Database Admin / IT Manager / computer tech / Lan Tech / Inside Sales rep for a video manufacturer. In laymans terms, I surf the internet for 6.5 hours a day, drink coffee non-stop, and laugh at my co-workers cause their email isn't working.

I work as a Graphic Artist (bet you'd never guess) for a company that is a marketing and software solutions provider. (No, we don't do Telemarketing)

So my day consists of drawing pictures, retouching photos, and preparing them for print and web. (And for RCU of course :D)

I am a software consultant under contract to the US Army. I write software that transfers images of drawings to CD's. I prefer 'C' but work primarily in C++. I write the installation scripts in InstallShield. I have done some Fortran, Java, a lot of HTML, and some ASM. The great thing about my job is that I learn something new almost every day. In my spare time, I....hmmmm....it has been so long since I had any spare time, I can't remember what I did.

Project Manager for Commercial Architecture firm that focuses on restaurants. If you've eaten at Chili's, Maggiano's, Chuck E Cheese, or California Pizza Kitchen lately, one of the people I work with (or myself, of course) knows pretty much every intimate detail about the place.

Oh, and for about 1/4 of the time that I'm supposed to be working I'm on here seeing how other people waste their day. :D

What do you do for a living?

I'm a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate at Auburn University. I'm home for the Summer and I landed a Summer temporary job at a factory down here with a semi-good pay. I'm using a bit of my Summer money to order my Savage SS, and saving a bit more of it for hop-ups and fuel down the road :)
