Default Vinyl Wrap Composite Models

Hi,
I have a vinyl graphics for some molded sailplanes. The graphics cross the hinge lines of the control surfaces. I'd guess the vinyl needs cut here, but it seems this would lead to a loose end that can pull up.
Any tips?

I've done trim decals and such across hinge lines, you need to trim a section about 1/16" wide at the hinge. Any flexing of the vinyl will cause it to lift.

HI,
I got a tip from the fellow that made my graphics - he does not cut the vinyl when going over live hinges. The hinge gap of my sailplane is about 1/32". I've tried moving the surfaces and they go okay. Then I pushed the vinyl into the gap with my fingernail. So far this is good. But if it lifts then I will have to cut it and tap the vinyl down with a monocote iron.

I did exactly the same thing with my 3M Extra 330. Didn't take long for the vinyl to lift at the hinge. Trimmed that 1/16" out of the hinge line and had no farther problems.
