Default carbon fiber fuselage formers?

I am currently building a Brian Taylor 69" p-51 which has a fiberglass fuselage. There's not a whole lot of room to work inside it, but it does need some formers. I have never used carbon fiber before, but I was wondering if anybody has ever tried rolling cf sheets up to about the diameter of a straw and epoxying it to the inside of the fuselage. If this would work, what would be the best type/thickness of cf to use? THANKS!!!!
