Hinges
 

I'm scratch building an R/C Glider. I am new to modeling and unsure as what to do or use for hinges for the stab and rudder. The two are only 1/8 thick. Can I use a clear tape like Scotch? I've seen articles that mention sewing thread in a figure 8 pattern but nothing on how to do that. Any ideas for this old man??? Thanks!

I kept looking and found out how to make hinges from the covering material. Thanks anyway!
