Between 1:48 and 1:49 of the video, you'll see the hit against the pole.

At 1:49, you'll see the plane just past the pole with the wings folded.

But what is that beautiful scale model, a model of? Did I get it right in post #22 That is the question?

This is a Nakajima J1N 'Irving'. We call it 'Gekko' in Japanese. Literally it means 'Moonlight'.

That is apparently a poor location for the wind sock pole .
Your aircraft was a beautiful work of art , sorry for your loss.
