CONTROL LINE STUNT CONTEST:


May 4-5, 2019

AMA Sanctioned Event #19/7266

Saturday:
Unlimited Profile (BIAE) – No appearance points.
Classic (OPEN) – Appearance points
War Bird (OPEN) – Appearance points

Sunday:
Precision Aerobatics (BIAE)
Appearance points (ARFs 0-10 points) (ARCs or modified ARFs 5-15 points)

WARBIRD STUNT - Rules and guidelines as follows:
o Warbirds must be readily recognizable for the airplane they represent.
o Modified nonmilitary aircraft made to loosely resemble military aircraft will not be allowed (i.e., modified, Twister, Veco Chief, Ring Master, etc.)
o May be constructed of profile or Built-up fuses.
o Aircraft must have military finishes, or finishes that depict their mission. No air-racing finishes, or fancy air show paint schemes allowed. Paint schemes of military demonstration aircraft will be allowed.
o Appearance points will be awarded if pilot is the builder.
o Contestants will fly the modern stunt pattern.
o This will be an open event - no skill classes.
o There will be an award for the BEST WARBIRD- Based on the likeness to the aircraft it represents, and fit/finish. Contestant must be the BOM. The pilots will decide the winner.
o Stunt Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
o The purpose of the event is to have aircraft that represent the military theme for the sake of honoring the men who flew them, the hard working men who maintained them, the men who designed them, and the men and women who built them.

$15 first event, $5 additional event
Asphalt and grass circles
Awards, Raffle Prizes, Pilots Choice Awards
Pilots Meeting at 9 AM
Concessions available
Field open on Friday
Open Invitation

If you are unable to book your room through the motel websites, call the motels directly. The different websites show no vacancies because the rooms have been blocked off for contractor use. However, at this time, motels have openings for the weekends- Fri. afternoons thru Sun- specifically May 5th-May 7th rooms should be available if you call the motel desk.

Does any oldie ever fire up a ancient Red Head Pulse jet. Cleared out the ears & sinus openings at 100'.
