A Sig Banshee kit, another Stunt .35, and 60 or so assorted props real cheap.

A Brodak '59 Ares kit, and a trip to the flying field with the family on a perfect late summer afternoon. [8D]

Wow! I could have sworn I posted this thread in the Control line forum of RCUniverse!
Hmmm... Ummm... Yep sure did!

I think I should restate that though I did not get anything today, I do have a package comming from a friend here that is control line related and it was sent before today and he wished me Merry Christmas, so I will consider it a Chrisatmas present!

Contol Line Christmas presents?

I'm typing on my new Mac Book my wife bought me!

I bought my son a few details for his old Sterling Mr. Mulligan 1/12th Scale C/Liner, a Williams Bros Wasp engine and Sportsman pilot.

I got an NOS OS61FSR and an overhauled OS61SF as presents, but those are for the Kaos and UFO. Well, maybe too much for the Kaos but then that is R/C!

It's hard to separate the subjects on our benches, FF, R/C, C/L flow freely. Once the new switch is in the Bridi RCM Trainer 40, I'll get to finishing the Gieseke Nobler for VSC at Tucson in March.
Parallel to the Speed Air Santa brought my son, of course.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Chris...

Unless I am mistaken, this forum is called "Control Lines" for a reason.

My C/L goodies this Christmas consisted of an RSM '57 Nobler (in which I will be using the OS MAX-S 35 which was a Christmas present from my late grandfather way back in 1983), a couple of fuel tanks, gallon of SIG dope, two sets of lines, and a couple of great afternoons flying with my nephews visiting from Sydney.

cheers,
Colin

Well, I haven't received anything "control line" for Christmas in many years BUT I do remember the Christmas of 1963 (11 years old) like it was yesterday I woke up real early on Christmas morning at probably 5:00 am and tip toed downstairs so as not to wake the parents and flipped on the light in the living room. I was completely dumb founded and tickled to death to find under the tree two brand new Veco 29 engines. One 29Stunt an the other was a 29Racing engine. WOW!! Then as I scanned a little deeper into the cluster of packages, I discovered a Veco "Barnstormer" kit and a Sterling "Polish Fighter" kit along with a new hand twist drill and several bottles of clear and colored dopes. Also severeal tubes of Ambroid glue and a couple of sets of 60' Sullivan Control lines and a new shiny red EZ-Just Handle... DOUBLE WOW!! That was a Christmas I'll never forget as long as I live[8D]

Boy, That's no kidding!

I got a Guillows Trainer 3, Roberts handle and three line bellcrank and a Super Tigre 35 R/C for carrier one Christmas. Pretty cool, as it was just a part of a huge haul my parents were always spoiling us with.
