Buder Park - 60th Anniversary Fun Fly - Aug 15-16
 

Aug 15-16 - CL Fun Fly - St Louis MO

The Lafayette Esquadrille will be hosting a CL fun fly to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Buder Park becoming an official CL flying site. Our main CL circle which is a fully paved circle that can handle anything up to 75 feet long lines was recently repaved. Our flying site has 4 four circles - 65' radius paved Do-nut, 150' x 150' paved square pad, concrete permanent carrier deck (also used for sport flying over grass) and the fenced speed circle.

We will have several raffles on Sat Aug 15. The general raffle will have donated kits, $50 brodak gift certificate and other donated items. Then a 50/50 cash raffle, 1/2 of the cash will go to the winner. Then Joe Pearson made some CL wooden boxes.

We will be cleaning up the flying site on Aug 14th - the fun fly will be on both Aug 15-16

All CL models are welcome, but you must have a 2020 AMA card to register and fly since it is a sanctioned fun fly. All CL models are welcome, the small, big, fast, slow, ugly and even the pretty CL models can show and up fly. CL speed models can be flown in the speed cage. We will also have the balloon bust equipment out on the Do-nut and the carrier ropes available.
