RE: seeking cleveland models b-17 control line kit

Hey P-47,

I'm not sure if any of these are control line plans, but the Cleveland company is still around (no kits yet, just plans) and offers among other plans.......plans for a B-17 in various wingspans. Here's the main page........... http://www.clevelandairline.com/ and here's the B-17................. http://www.clevelandairline.com/ASP/PRODUCT.asp

What I would do is contact the company by e-mail and ask them if those plans are for the control line or if they're just free flight. I've personally corresponded by e-mail with the company a few times and have recieved prompt responses.

Anyhow that's all I know. Good Luck!!!

This could make you sick. There is a LHS in N. Olmstead, Oh owned by a relative of the late Ed Packard, founder of Cleveland Models. For years, she had a large assortment of new-in-box Cleveland kits, including a B17. Last summer, she put them up for sale. The B-17 was bought last September, asking price was an E-bay like $350. It's gone. There were the last time I was there only 2 kits left, both for over $150.
