Sterling Models

Does anyone remember a Sterling ukie called the LionTamer?

My Dad built and flew a big Sterling many, many years ago and I'd like to find as much out about the plane as possible. I cannot find any references to a "LionTamer" anywhere...

Thanks!

The Lion Tamer was not made by Sterling. It was made by a company called P.D.Q. also located in Philadelphia. It was supposed to be PPDQs answer the the Sterling Super Ringmaster.

Well...

That certainly explains my not being able to find it among the Sterling offerings of the day!

Many thanks for the head's-up...

So, now..does anyone have any info on the PDQ Lion Tamer?

Try this link. It goes to Barry Baxters plans and look in the stunt section and you'll find that the plans are available and there is a picture of the plane.
