Totally strange - twin .049's
|
RE: Weird VooDoo
That is pretty strange but then again that is what gives it a flavor I really like!
Is it yours? Robert |
RE: Weird VooDoo
Not mine, its being auctioned on eBay somewhere. I just thought it was rather unique. I built dozens of VooDoos but never one like that.

RE: Weird VooDoo
Wonder why the motors are so far apart.
My take is .. It flies like S*@T.! |
RE: Weird VooDoo
Probably does OK until the first one quits. Then its probably chasing you around or flopping like an albatross with one bad wing ;->
Are a pair of .049's enough to even wingover a VooDoo?!? |
RE: Weird VooDoo
How does the old saying go? "When the first engine quits the other engine will take you to the scene of the accident."

RE: Weird VooDoo
I tired to build a voodoo bipe using two voodoos......don't even think about it
|
RE: Weird VooDoo
A VooDoo bipe would probably require about 10" of separation between the wings and a pretty large stab/elevator along the lines of what's on a Thunderbird. I'm guessing the fuselage would want to be at least 30" long from prop to elevator hinge.
What were the failure mode(s) on yours? |
