RE: Brodak covering?

Skali,

....don't know f'r shr, but I recently shrunk out some of the wrinkles on a friend's Brodak ARF. It AIN'T Monokote...

I'd heard that some of his ARFs had edge to edge film covering, leading to oil seepage exposure. Not true on the model I was drafted to play with. At least 1/8" to 1/4" overlaps.

Somewhat reassuring...

Perhaps I've been building and designing my models too long, but, all the ARFs I've had hands on with, seem to be limited in what they tell the buyer/flier. Little things, like whether a model is sold to use 45°-45° elevator-flap movement, or perhaps 30° flap-45° elevator? Instructions, generally, state put this there. Don't ask questions. Just do it.

I'd like to know (inquiring minds want to know?) a bit more than that...

...wish I had the motivation to do more of what I "know" is right. but lately for real and imagined reasons, that's been lacking...
