freeflight

Would anyone be interested in a freeflight sub-forum here in Control Lines? Or is there one already that I have missed? It is a fascinating aspect of modelling for some-it has gone decidedly hightech-but there is still some interest in the old Nostalgia freeflights-both rubber and gas(glo). Maybe the place to put a sub forum would be in the Vintage rc forum??? Let me know what you think. I have loved ff since I was a kid-couldn't afford the radios in the 60's. I am learning rc now but will always fly free as well. Thermals!

RE: freeflight

I piddle with some free flight from time to time. mostly gliders and rubber power but love to see what others do. I like the Ebeneezers a lot but haven't tried one of those yet. Just not wanting to turn loose a powered plane and have to track it down. Health issues.

Not sure where the forum should go... Just doesn't seem right to combine it here in C/L.

Modern day FF is anything but vintage. If you get it, please point it out. So nice for an old fogy like me to find out there are still modelers that appreciate any and all disciplines in aero-modeling. :)

Good Luck!

RE: freeflight

I have started a different thread in The Clubhouse-the error of my ways has been pointed out. I agree; am totally blown away by the current high tech freeflights. I love all aspects of freeflight and RC and Controlline-just not those D&^%$ Helis-Just kidding-I wish I could fly one too!![sm=wink_smile.gif]
