cubs first flight
hi
i bought a cub a week ago and after i had put it together i took it down to a field and flown it. i came into a turn using my rudder and it nosedived into the ground. i had split my fuselage and shattered my prop. any ideas what happened?

how many channels?? what size?? more info please!! if it has ailerons.. you may have encountered what is called rudder fin stall. that will bring you crashing down in a hurry.. but cant really tell you till you give more info.

If the battery was lower than a full charge, full power might not have been enough to provide enough power to the motor. Wind might have also pushed the wing over, were you downwind?

easy, when you use rudder fot turning, there is a great increasing of lift on the advancing wing(ie. turn tight, left wing advance, so is flying faster than the right one)
so i you turn fsta whit rudder you'll make almost a snap roll, wich is an acro maneuver.
recomendations: easy rudder inputs and apply nose down pressure to the stick
