Default Pilot Error

Below you will find a few examples of what Pilot Error can do for you. Today I learned a valuable lesson, Throttle Management! Recently I purchased a 3D monster called the SkyDancer from Composite ARF. To make a long story short, pay attention to those who are experienced. One of my good friends flew the Dancer for me on the first flight. GREAT FLIGHT, wonderful 3D abilities and all that you would expect from the aircraft. Well it's time for the second flight, MY TURN! About 3 minutes into the flight I went to full throttle, not paying attention to how fast the aircraft was going. While flying straight and lever at full throttle I noticed that the tail of the aircraft jerked, all the while my friend was yelling throttle back, throttle back, but I was too caught up into flying my new aircraft and never heard his voice. About 2 seconds after that I noticed something falling from my aircraft, it was my right elevator and horizontal stab. Yes my elevators were on separate servos but to now avail I was unable to recover. So the moral of the story is THROTTLE MANAGEMENT! Time to order another one…

I'd imagine it was flutter that ended that plane's life. Flying a 3D plane fast will do that. Sorry about your loss. Looked like a nice plane.
