RE: Question: What do you do when you crash?
well i had my first HELICOPTER crash the other week, and i have to say that, man im pissed, my cg was too far foward but that didnt stop me from flying well, just slugged pulling up, well, this little 8 year old kid runs right into the path of it, i give full left bank, pull up full, but not enoguh throttle and it ditched, its increadibly annoying, and i just felt like murdering that kid, i just walked up to the wreckage, turned off the radios, and told the kid to go home, whiclst me and my freind serched and found the tail fin 20 metres away from the wreckage.

RE: Question: What do you do when you crash?
I am on my second plane. I made the mistake of getting 'attached' to my first plane - a trainer. I'm not a very practical person and I was extremely proud of the fact that I had actually built something (get this - it was an artf! But it took me WEEKS to put it together) When it went in I was genuinely sad and upset. I smiled. Listed to all of the advice, went home, and felt very very sad for a few days. The airframe was a total write off.
I wonder what it will feel like next time? Hope I don't find out too soon

RE: Question: What do you do when you crash?
it is true thought that this hobby is very dangerous and puts a lot of responsibility in the hands of the pilot and helper.
