I'm like exeter, but I would give some right aileron unless, of course, you don't have ailerons. I've been there before. Rocking the wings is how I recovered.

Below and Towards! How else would you be able to see the entire vertical stab?

Muxje,
That doesn't work because you can also see the entire horizontal stab. Gotta do something to figure it out, my vote is wing rock. This is why a trim scheme is so vital. New AMA rule, all B-52's must have red and yellow sunburst on top, NASA test pattern on bottom.

Both drawings could be doing either - going above and away, or below and towards. They need some way of differentiating between the top and bottom. The poll needs one more selection - either.

I fly standing on the ground, so it HAS to be above me........ unless I just crashed.

Maybe you are a REALLY good flyer and have jumped over the plane when it is flying between your legs

I think optical illusions cause a few crashes. I think dayglow orange on one panel helps me, but I'm new.
When I drew it I was imagining it coming toward and looking down, but I was trying to think non-bias. Or draw it that way. I think a lot of people see different things and I wanted to find out.
Also if it is looking down and toward I think I might be on the runway about to taxi by, but I like the hillidea because the design on the plane needs to be destroyed. Running it into a mountain will definatley solve the problems with this illusive plane.
Check these pictures out.

My .02: Obviously flying from the ground. Third from the left is flying upright and away. The other three, regardless of the wing tip color are in a steep right bank and headed for the ground. If they aren't, then the horizontal stab is twisted 90* and has become the vertical stab. That's what it looks like to me.

It's right in front of me and doesn't move, except when I move the scroll bars, then it just goes up and down.
