After seeing that remarkable video I guess we should all start learning and practicing how to knife edge, it might save one of our planes.

After my H9 33% Sukhoi snapped off the left wing panel and crashed I got the after crash moment of brilliance and remarked that I should have put it in a knife edge and tried to land it. This was greeted with laughs and guffaws from the other fliers. I probably could't have saved it like BH did but at least now I know it is feasible.

K-Bob,
Anything is possible when I have an experience where something went wrong I disect the event over and over. I think those moments of brillance make you a better flier. As a former AWACS controller and having been around airplanes a lot big and small like the ones we fly now debriefing with another or yourself is always a good practice.

Thank you, I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your waitress.
