If you want visabillity try yellow, pink or orange..neons fade badly in sunlight so only apply to the bottom of the plane.

Some colors look awesome together. Others not so much. But, the colors Blue, Yellow, and White or silver look great on a plane. Blue and Red or Yellow would also look awesome together ! In my opinion Blue, orange, and yellow are awesome colors on any plane. What I'd do is do a certain pattern on the top of the wing (like starburst) and on the bottom of the wing a solid color that is easily seen. Get 2 white or corrdinating color stars from a graphic place and place them on the end of the underside of the wing. This makes the underside of the plane easily told apart from the bottom and the top of the plane. I know a great website - she does the best graphics for anything RC you can think of. Boats, planes, heli's, trucks, and anything else I forgot to mention. She also has shirts, hats, etc. on her website. Go to - www.calliegraphics.com. They have full lists of colors available and she does custom work too!

I'm gonna re-cover my Lanier Fun Fly into a Metallic Blue scheme with the German crosses.

If the red/white/black is 'sposed to be pseudo- WW-I German Eindeckerish...

How about the other Eindecker schemes?

one was transparent, one was lozenge-d, Pfalz built eindeckers were cream with black rib tapes, black metal parts, some with spashes of color, Turkish were darker orange-y brown with black square nat'l markings.

Or do it up as an Allied plane.......

Lace - but you'd have to do a painted finish to get it. Mask off and area, get some lace, and spray through it, then take the lace off.

Lace'd stripes and sunbursts are something you won't often see at a field.
