This is what happened to my Gws Zero at his maiden after converted into Rufe...
My first mistake was to adding no elevator in floating, but maybe that front section of main float is too narrow... Well, I'll try again. But not before this summer; water is too cold for another rescue, just now ...:D

Its hard to tell from your pictures, but the center float looks as though it doesn't extend far enough forward. Check out the following link:

Look at where the prop line is on this plane; the float length in front of the prop is at least the length of the front of the wing to the front of the cowl. Perhaps you should add an extension to your pontoon.

I agree with you. That's looks as a matter of displacement. But I suppose the problem is section, not lenght; as you can see from this other pic, the pontoon is well long after plane nose... I hope. :eek:

To me it looks like the angle of the float in respect to propeller thrust could be wrong. If you extended the front strut a little to angle the thrust of the prop upwards a little, it might help keep the front of the float from submarining.

Ouch. Sorry for you accident. Was there any damage to your electronics, or were you able to dry them out OK?

I still have the plane,, flew it last week,, still havent flown it off the water yet
