I agree. I don't believe anyone can really learn to fly RC on those cheaper electric foamies. If you already know how to fly they can be fun. A Mini Ultra Stick or an electric Funtana with a good Lipo and brushless motor can be a handful and alot of fun for experienced pilots. Still believe hard to beat a good 40 or 60 glow trainer for mastering basic skills first. My 2 cents.

I would beg to differ. I believe with propper instruction someone can really learn to fly RC on those cheaper electric foamies. I am an instructor at my club and while I would not train a person to fly the PZ P-51 I would take someone out with a Megatech Freedom Flyer. Those planes come with 4 channel radios with Futaba style trainer ports on the back. I got 2 of them for my Dad and my Uncle for Christmas and sucessfully got them in the air and back to the ground. Then Hooked them up with the local club for further training and had to go back to work:(

well yes there was actual big time damgae, the motor was shoved 3 inches into the fuse, ripping apart the 2 wires for the motor, destroyed the left aileron servo from the impact and the front was crushed in, this plane is really nose heavy and u gotta give it a good toss, its fun to fly in the air, but landing is a pain because half the time i tip stall the thing and it goes BAM! and the F word about 2 seconds later. and its hard to tell where it is if theres trees in the background, wouldnt buy another warbird from parkzone again. ill just stick with this one.
