RCkidbuilder: You do have some very nice looking photos. I definatly dig the picture of the prop and spinner to what i think looks like on an ultimate bipe. I personally hang out on Photosig.com which is a very nice photo review site. I learn a lot of good photography tips on that site. Keep up the good work!!!

RE: Two Examples of Photoshopped Images
This photoshoped image fooled a lot of our club members. It is a pic of our field, with a fly-in visitor added. Everyone in the club wanted to know when, how, why, who?[ul]

I suspect there's a lot of drag from the cape.
Adding a fairing behind the cab,.... and putting a couple of wheels at the back to support the fairing.. hey, that might work!

Man, I posted this thread a LONG time ago. I've come a long way with Photoshop since then. Here's my latest....

Photoshop has several selection tools. You select the area you want to color, then you choose the paintbrush and change it's properties from "normal" to "Color" and paint the selected area.
BTW, here's one of my favorite threads on the subject:

In CS2:
Duplicate the background layer.
On the new layer, select Image->Adjustments->Hue/saturation. Check colorize and then adjust the Hue slider to the color you want, click OK.
Add a Layer mask. Set foreground to white and paint over the object you want to change the color. Use a hard-edged brush of appropriate diameter. To change the color later, just change the hue in the duplicate layer.
This has the advantage that the original is not touched.
There are many ways to do similar things in Photoshop. Depends upon who taught you, what book you learned from, or what you discovered while "messing" around. It's that powerful!
