learning the photochop

ive used photoshop a couple of times before and decided i sucked hard at it but i intend on trying to get better. was trying to make a desktop wallpaper with a pic i took of my micro t. the plan was to concentrate on doing some neat looking text but i got carried away with the rest of the details and after trying several i realised nothing was going to match with the rest of the picture and i gave up. guess ill try something different tomorow and see what i churn up. hoping to learn many tips and tricks from you guys.
heres the pics:

You can do a lot of things with photoshop, but in this hobby, like always said my friend Moris Beracha, the reallity is better than the fictiion (or retouched reallity).
