Default Any Suggestions for a HD Video Camera Purchase?

I am looking to purchase a new HD Video Camera to record my clubs model airplanes.

I would like to be able to record planes as fast as turbines, 3D planes, helicopters, etc.

Price range would be up to $ 500

I have no experience with HD Cameras, nor do I have a preference at this point.

I have several Sony Camcorders, 8mm, DVR, I even have a full size VCR recorder ( I know...haha ).

Can anyone make some suggestions and maybe post a couple videos of the camera you are using so I can see the quality?

Thank you for your help and suggestions.

Deleted. I thought you were asking about smaller ones to mount on your plane.

I have a Sony and it wasn't hard to narrow down because a lot of them dont come with a view finder. A view finder is a LOT easier to film models with than trying to use an LCD screen.

Camera alone is about $350 It has a great stabilization system and all he used is a short bar screwed into the tripod hole.
