Hooking up a different camera to SAVS
Hi all,
I'm trying to hook the ntsc output from a Nikon camera to the
video transmitter. I did a search and couldn't find if anyone
had done this before. I've got the camera output cable stripped
to bare wires and I am trying to hook it up where the SAVS cam four prong
plug goes into the board. It doesn't seem to matter which wires I plug it into, the
video does not appear. When I hook the SAVS camera in it works
fine. Anyone have experience doing this?
There are three wires coming from the camera to the plug on the board.
Red, black and white. The wires that go from the plug to the video tx are
white, yellow, black and red. My ntsc output from my camera has just the
signal wire and the shielded outer wire.
I'm assuming the red and black go to power the camera and the white
wire is the video feed. But it doesn't seem to work when I hook up the
ntsc signal to the white wire.
The yellow wire does not go into the camera plug. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
