Some guy in LA now has a misdemeanor for flying a drone stupidly.

The air rescue of a victim who fell 100 feet down seaside cliffs in Pacifica was abandoned Friday night after authorities say a local man flew his drone into the area to watch what was happening, forcing a helicopter crew to withdraw.

Stupid is as stupid does!

The media will always focus on the negative things that happen. All we can do is live and learn, don't be that guy!

Fortunately, the media may be the only source that gets us closer to the truth of what is happening because our politicians think it is ok to feed us alternative facts. I guess they think we, the public, are too simple minded to handle real facts. Now, if all our drone flyers would simply adhere to common sense operation of their equipment, stories from the media about drones would fade away.
