Different Mufflers on Jett Engines
#1

Hi,
I used the Jett Stream Mufflers with great success in Sport Models and Q500 as well and always wanted a Jett Engine (even if I actually have too many engines).
After some years of absence RC flying I started again at a new flying area and have big noise issues which do not allow magic mufflers without noise reduction.
The limit is 82dB at 7m.
Have you ever tested the Sport Jett engines with other muffler types especially the "tuned" type of the Genesis 1-piece Pipes?
I got good results with them on other brand engines even if they do not have the same great tuning effect as the Jettstream muffler.
Is there a warranty issue if I use an "non Jett" exhaust system?
The Engine will not be used for extreme high RPM or high speed flying. Just as a sport engine in the 40-60 size.
Best regards
Torsten
