Parkzone P-47 motor bombed?
Flew yesterday - never an issue with the power plant when I heard a loud crack. Dead sticked - and shot this video. 30 minutes after flying, the motor was still too hot to touch. Thoughts on the issue and a suitable replacement motor?

If you pull it apart you might well find loose magnets in there!
This is often suggested as an alternative:
SUPPO 2814-08
• 103g Outrunner
• Kv: 1100, Rm: 0.072, io: 1.8A, Poles: 14
• Max watts: 350, Max amps: 35A for 60sec
• Shaft is 4mm
• Dimensions: 35mm x 36mm

RE: Parkzone P-47 motor bombed?
I know this is an old thread, but I replaced my P-47 motor with a Scorpion 3014-1040 and added a E-flite 60A ESC. I changed over to 4s batterys (Gens Ace 3300 $31). The plane is a blast to fly. Pulls a APC 10x5 with a 4s and a APC 12x6 w/3s.
The stock ESC in the P-47 only has a 0.7A BEC. So I would upgrade the ESC or add a CC 10A BEC for sure. Scoot
