Default where to place the crimp seam on anderson power pole pin

I CANT FIND A GOOD PICTURE OF WHERE TO PLACE THE PIN SEAM WITH A PLIERS TYPE CRIMPing tool USING
ANDERSON POWER POLE PINS .15 or 30 amp pins

I read on some other forum that the poster got best results by placing the seam in the curved portion of the pliers. I solder mine.

If you're asking about how to orient the connector pin in the pliers then just look at the die , it should be very clear and only goes in one way.
If you're asking about which way to orient the connector into the plastic housing then the split goes toward the wide part of the housing.

If you are using any regular type crimp pliers then put it in same place as any other regular type crimp connector.

as in this picture if its right because I have seen other pictures of it being opposite in the placement of the seam should it be like in this picture with the seam facing the little bump in the tool?

That is the wrong tool , but it can go either way if you use that regular crimp tool. Hopefully it won't deform the end. I kinda like you way as opposed to the opposite way.
